I thought today was a good day to post what I got for my birthday. I received Ingrid Bergman: A Life in Pictures and I think its safe to say; it literally takes my breath away. This is honestly the best book in the world - so much detail and stories and just amazing tid-bits about her wonderful life, I scream every time I read it.
This is honestly the only book that matters.

What a wonderful gift you got! I’d love to own a copy too :D

I’m all dressed up in my 1940’s dress and wearing my fake string of pearls, and heading off to an outdoor screening of “Casablanca” at my local coffee shop. This is going to be an amazing trip back in time. *tears*

Happy Birthday, Ingrid! <3

How sweet! :D

“Time is shortening. I have accepted it and I will make the most of what’s left of my life.   At some point, you have to make peace with adverse circumstances. Fighting is a very tiring thing. At a certain point, when it is futile, you have to bend. Bending is a part of life.”
Ingrid Bergman (29.08.1915 – 29.08.1982)

Ingrid was one of the wisest souls ever. She inspires me so very much.
Thanks for the beautiful picture and the beautiful quote, Irene!
